The Students' Night will be open for all MSc and PhD students as well as early career scientist up to 35 years old.
Program:
The evening will be introduced by a few short presentation aimed at introducing the support EWRS can provide to young weed scientists.
- Introduction to the EWRS (Prof. Husrev Mennan, Scientific Secretary)
- EWRS training activities and benefits for students/ECR (Dr. Lena Ulber, coordinator of the 'Education and Training WG, and Dr. Maor Mazrafi, Additional EWRS Board Member)
- Why and how to publish in Weed Research as a student/ECR? (Prof. Dr. Paul Neve, Chair of the Editorial Board of our Journal 'Weed Research')
- Q&A session
After the presentations, there will be opportunities for the participants to network and get together over food and drinks.
If possible, the presentations will be streamed for online participants. Details about the exact date, location and registration for this event will be communicated in due time.
