The 20th EWRS Symposium, held in Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) in July 2025, provided a platform for presenting cutting-edge research in weed science from Europe and beyond. This special issue of Weed Research will highlight outstanding contributions from the symposium, capturing novel findings and approaches that can advance sustainable weed management. The collection will serve as a reference point for current and future directions in the field.
Although the deadline was extended, please note that, with the online publication system, articles accepted for the Special Issue will be published online as soon as they are accepted and will later be formally assigned to the Special Issue. Therefore, the extended deadline will not delay publication.
