EWRS Symposium 2025 progress report
Last January, on 15th and 16th, the EWRS President Maurizio Vurro, the Vice-President Ilias Travlos and the Scientific Secretary Husrev Mennan visited Lleida not only to see the venue, but above all met with the local organising committee, chaired by Prof. Jordi Recasens, from the University of Lleida.
They discussed with the LoCom about the logistical aspects of the event, dates, scientific sessions, the organisation of the spaces, the modalities of registration of participants and submission of abstracts, the website dedicated to the event, communication, the responsibilities of the LoCom and the EWRS in the organisation of the 20th Symposium to be held from 1st to 5th July 2025.
The EWRS delegation was fully satisfied with:
- the location chosen to host the symposium, which offers space and infrastructure that are an excellent guarantee for the success of the event;
- the enthusiasm, hospitality and professionalism of the LoCom, indispensable to ensure a broad participation of scholars and the scientific success of the event;
- the host city, which, with its mild climate, good food and proximity to numerous tourist attractions, will certainly attract the participants and their accompanying persons.
