Site Specific Weed Management (SSWM) is based on the fact that weed populations are commonly irregularly distributed within crop fields and it implies applying chemical and/or physical weed control measures only where and when they are really needed.

The aim of the EWRS working group SSWM is to be a platform for discussions, joint research activities, publications and dissemination within the four main topics of the working group:

Meeting of the EWRS Working Group "Site Specific Weed Management

Recent progress in research and engineering of weed sensing, data science, precision sprayers and robotics have made it possible to automate weed identification, weed mapping and site specific control of weeds with advanced sprayers and robots. At this workshop in Odense, we will share these latest progresses and discuss how they enables answering scientific questions and practical applications.
